Lyndsay's birthday was January 27th. She has developed a habit of celebrating the entire month. Scott, realizing the importance of her birthday, has stepped up to the plate of going above and beyond the call of duty in regards to her birthday. This year he surprised her with Disney on ice ("Finding Nemo") in the lovely town of Phoenix, Arizona. The first day they arrived, they saw the Disney show. It was amazing and well done. There were a bunch of loud kids around, but they soon fell asleep since it was passed their bed time. Thank goodness for bed times! It was more enjoyable than the Lion King broadway play in Birmingham. The next day Scott and Lyndsay decided to go shopping in Scottsdale. Scottsdale did not look that far away on the map, and since Scott had opted to not get rental car, they decided they would walk. Six miles and a few ghettos later, they realized they were not even halfway to Scottsdale. Looking at each other with tired bodies, they decided to get a cab. They called a cab not once or twice but four times, which could have probably payed for the rental car. Oh well...live and learn. We had a great time bonding in the ghetto of Phoenix.
This weekend we are seperating as Scott goes to watch part of his new family (Mitch) graduate from the Marines and Lyndsay abandons him to attend a nursing conference.
We should have pictures soon assuming Scott finds the camera cable or breaks down to buy a new one. See, Scott loses things too.
